Accounting trainer
Originally from Ohio, I have spent my early years in the US Army, graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, then received my professional licensing. After working as a tax professional and business consultant for a number of years, I started my own tax and accounting practice.
Having a passion for helping small business owners, as I am a small business owner myself, I have devoted myself to explaining accounting principles and logic to clients from a wide variety of industries. The results of my work have been testimonies of confident clients who are able to handle all manner of record keeping tasks, from daily transaction handling to interpreting their own financial reports.

System Setup
For those of you who are just getting started, selection of an accounting system and getting it setup correctly is crucial. I offer one-on-one training for small business owners on subjects such as accounting best practices, daily transaction handling, purchase and sales cycles, job cost tracking, and other tasks unique to your industry.

While priority naturally goes to managing the flow of money, small business accounting tasks that cannot be ignored must also be attended to such as account reconciliation, inventory tracking, reporting, periodic system review and cleanup, and interpretation of the many accounting reports available in your system.
Taxes
The end-game for many small business owners is in the area of tax compliance. We want to structure our accounting system to feed us the information needed to prepare taxes at year-end, and manage the business finances along the way.
